Abstract

Often, when people do something out of generally accepted norms, something strange, out of ordinary, we tend to think 'he is abnormal' or– in extreme situations 'he is mentally ill'. The book The Social Animals written by professor Elliot Aronson shows us, that this not need to be truth, because peoples' behaviors are dictated by their psychological base processes. According to the author getting to know these processes will allow us better understand people and the world around us.
